Children
First Communion Class will be offered again in April 2021.
The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how God's word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun! For New Hope's Scholarship Application for Luther Park Bible Camp, download the document under Luther Park below.
Students
For the 2020 - 2021 Class Schedule hit the Confirmation Link
We believe that junior high and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story God is writing in their lives. Confirmation is a two year program. Worship/Sermon Notes.Students begin in 7th grade. We teach the faith, and engage the students in conversation about how faith fits into their lives. One year is a concentration on the Bible, where we go through from beginning to end. The second year is a focus on the Small Catechism - The Lord's Prayer, The Ten Commandments, and The Apostles Creed. Students affirm their baptism at the end of the second year. For New Hope's Scholarship Application for Luther Park Bible Camp, download the document under Luther Park below.

New Hope Comforters
The New Hope Comforters usually exceed the 1,000 mark in quilts made annually. 1,018 were made in 2017. Some are distributed locally, and 740 were given to Lutheran World Relief (LWR). In addition the group supplied 125 personal care kits, 158 baby care kits, 183 school kits, and 6 fabric kits to LWR.
